A cold flame roars in my heart.
It warms me up, it tears me apart.
It lives in me, dancing on my grave.
I do not budge, for I am brave.
I feed the flame, I like the taste,
Of misery and pain, I feel displaced.

A cold flame lights my mind.
It freezes me, it makes me blind.
To all that’s good, to all of life.
Its in my back, like a knife.
I feed the flame, I love the flame,
It makes me die, I am to blame.

A cold flame feeds on my bones.
It makes me mad, I throw my stones.
I feel its power in my veins.
Like a horse, the flame holds the reins.
I feed the flame, I am its slave,
It is my rage, a fire within a cave.

This is a very good poem a lot of the words rhyme to together leading to a great flowing feeling when said aloud.

it brings also to mind a lot of imagery which is another plus a lot of feeling it feels like someone is struggling with power and the feelings it brings fighting against greed but slowly losing however if they could use their strength for good rather then control they could become quite strong and just.

Great job writing and a hope you do more the world can never have to many artist no matter what people say.
